I’ve set a lofty goal for 2011:, to produce over 1,000 pounds of fruits, vegetables and herbs in the calendar year.
The February harvest numbers are in, and they bring the yearly harvest total to just over 22 lbs.
This isn’t going to be a linear harvest by any means, i except most of the yield to start tallying in May thru October. The good news is that crops are getting planted or are staging in the greenhouse for planting in the near future. Hopefully, by May the harvest numbers should start to increase. There is still much Citrus to harvest, but since they store so well on the tree, I am in no hurry to go out and pick a bushel of lemons.
