I’ve set a lofty goal for 2011:, to produce over 1,000 pounds of fruits, vegetables and herbs in the calendar year.
The May harvest numbers are in, and they bring the yearly harvest total to just over 177 lbs.
The Zucchinis, Squash, Kale and Swiss Chard are all going strong. I am seeing quite a few ripening tomatoes as well….can’t wait!
Soon it will be time to dust off the canner and start preserving some of the harvest for the winter months.
