Now that the storms have stopped for a while and the ground is somewhat dry, work continues on construction of the raised garden beds. All of the beds will have 19 gauge 1/4 inch hardware cloth installed on the bottom to prevent burrowing pests from chewing on the vegetables…namely gophers.
After that part of the project is complete, the beds will be leveled and aligned to their final positions. Then comes the addition of soil and installing the irrigation lines.
